A London landscape & rustic genre painter in oil and watercolour. Worked for 3 years in a glass-works. He studied under William Bromley and also with Bonnat & Cormon in Paris. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, Suffolk Street, New Watercolour Society, FIN, Royal Institute of Painters in Oil & elsewhere. Examples are in the Tate collection.
