Scottish landscape painter. Born in Glasgow, lived in Helensburgh, Dumbartonshire. He studied in Glasgow and with Dagnan-Bouveret & Aime Morot in Paris. He exhibited 1 work in the RA in 1885, he also exhibited in Scotland & abroad. He won a Gold Medal at the Munich International Exhibition in 1897.
