Marine Painter in oils, principally of sailing vessels in harbour, estuaries & off the coast. Studied under Fred Milner at St. Ives. He Exhibited at the RA, RBA, ROI, RSA, RSMA & elsewhere. Elected ARBA 1939, RBS 1940. He lived at Radlett, Hertfordshire.
