She was a Council Member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Society of British Artists, Free Painters & Sculpters, & National Society. She was also a full member of the Royal Society. She worked with Sir George Pollock, Robert de Quin, Horne Shepherd and several other influential artists of the 1960s. She was also a member of The National Society, as well as a full member of the Artists of Chelsea, one of the oldest members clubs in London, founded by Whistler and his bohemian Chelsea friends in 1891.

Although from a French family, she was born in London & trained as a painter & ceramicist. She exhibited at the RA & had a solo show at the Mall Galleries, London, and a solo show at the French Institute in London, in May 1955.

She was a member of the Free French during WW2. Her lover, the Breton painter Leopold Pascal, likewise a member of the Free French, started his career in Paris and then settled in Chelsea after the war. They lived together until the end.

Her works are in private & public collections in France, USA & England. The National Museum of Wales, Cardiff, holds her work.
