Landscape painter, engraver& lithographer of the Norwich School, working both in oil & watercolour. He was a pupil of James Stark. From 1828-1836 he lived in London where he exhibited at the RA in 1830 & 1831, but returned to Norwich as a dealer, restorer & & drawing master, where he stayed for 7 yearsbefore moving his business to Yarmouth, & later to Cambridge.
