The eldest son of Nathan Theodore Fielding, he was an engraver & landscape painter. He exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1799 & worked at the family studios in Newman Street until 1825 when he moved to Kentish Town. In 1827 he was appointed Professor of Drawingat the Military Academy, Addiscombe. His pupils include W. Callow & C. Bentley.
