Born in Kendal, he was a Watercolour & black & white artist. He was a Master & then Headmaster of Churcher’s College, Petersfield, Hampshire. He contributed to “Punch” He exhibited from 1909-1935 at the Royal Academy, Royal Institute of Painter in Watercolours & Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
