A self taught sussex landscape painter who was late exponent of the Cox-Collier tradition. He was educated in Brighton & lived in Lewes. He was killed in an air raid. From 1910-1920 he worked as a furniture salesman. Examples are in the VAM; Aberdeen AG & elsewhere.
