Frank Proschwitzy Freyburg (1862-1939)

He lived in Hassocks, West Sussex. He painted country scenes and exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1893, titles including “Jogging Home” and “Ere the Winter Storms Begin”.

 

He studied at the RA School, and during 1910-11 worked and exhibited from Piazza Studios, St Ives. At the March Show Day 1911 he exhibited A Yorkshire Quarry, Washing Day and a highland scene. In 1913 the artist moved to London, living at Westbourne Park. He married Monica MacIVOR, and the couple continued to live in London, visiting Cornwall periodically.
