Painter in watercolour of marines & coastal scenes. This prolific artist appears to have painted also under the name G M Avondale.
The subjects were mostly fishing boats or shore scenes & were painted along the South Coast, with some Cornish & East Anglian views.
He exhibited two watercolours at Elands Art Gallery in Exeter in 1906 & 1907, entitled ‘The Coast nr Ilfracombe’ & ‘St. Michael’s Mount’.
