Son of P R. Child prodigy who first exhibited at RA aged 13. Painted mainly in Italy, Holland & Lake District. Elected president of the Old Watercolour Society. Later a member of the Royal Academy, but resigned. Works are in several public collections, including the Victoria & Albert Museum & British Museum.
