He was a painter & iluustrator; seventh son of Alexander Dalziel & the youngest member of the family firm of Dalziel Brothers.
He was best known as a book illustrator, but also exhibited landscape, figure subjects & charcoal drawings at the Royal Academy, British Institution, Suffolk Street & elsewhere.
