He was a landscape painter in watercolours, often painting woodland scenes particularly beech trees.
He exhibited at the Birmingham, Liverpool & Manchester Art Galleries & also at the Royal Academy, Royal Cambrian Academy & the Royal Institute of Watercolour Artists.
